Keeping a balance

Writer: Avra PoelmannAvra Poelmann

Hello beautiful Souls. My message today is about balance.

Life is a process of holding on and letting go of all that gives us equilibrium. When we think of balance it is a situation or state where different elements are equal or in the correct proportions. It is a situation where proportions with an even or equal distribution of weight or substance can remain in a steady and secure state. We also see balance as a difference between debit or credit. Is it taking from or adding to our balance?

Our sense of balance is specifically regulated by complex interactions between motion, direction, grounding, sensory connections and of course emotions. Our brains and spinal cords process all the information and give us some sort of sense of balance. Our lives have to be constructed with a similar kind of process to unfold a reasonable balance that is primarily allowed to function through our mind.

Discipline and careful planning give us balance. We all need a timewheel to work from to recognise where the correct balance is. Physically, mentally and spiritually we need to realign in order to find a balance for what serves us best. Do we need to take space and time from some areas to find a workable, meaningful and stable balance? Maybe it's time to recognise our sense of balance.
