Hello beautiful Souls. You all know the saying "a change is as good as a holiday" I wonder whether this is in fact true for all of us?
Some folks just can't cope with change easily. They are "creatures of habit" When their comfort zone is upset it is difficult for them to be able to function normally. They need routine and a familiar pattern to exist properly.
Are you someone who enjoys moving a lot, changing residence, changing jobs and changing your mind often? In changing your place or space has this been a good thing for you? Would it in fact be a good question to ask yourself.... WHY? Or conversely: What is the real reason behind my need to have a rigid routine and not waiver from this? Would you be trying to run away from some issues?
Yes , it is lovely to go away and have a break from your job and surroundings and the same people for that matter. Almost like recharging those batteries. Changing you mundane routine is a great way to uplift your thoughts and see life from a slightly different perspective too. Do you go to a restaurant and order the very same meal everytime? Why do you do this? ......because it's safe, it's OK, it's what you know. So if you are stuck in a rut...
Challenge yourself to make one small change.. Order a different starter, then a main and, then a dessert!! Don't try change the whole menu all at once! Each time you go out and have a meal or buy groceries.... Make a different dish, become a little adventurous. We do also need some familiar terriotry to feel comfortable, so don't try change everything in life all at once. You will find if you start to make small changes you will start to have more confidence in yourself and this in turn will give you the strength to gain your power to step out of your comfort zone a little.

So if you just simply enjoy a burger every Tuesday, that's OK ,too! Just make sure it's because you enjoy it and that it's not just because it's Tuesday's habit.... Have some pickles now and then with your burger! Cheers to change!
