Are you a control freak?

Hello beautiful Souls. My message today is about control.

We spend an awful amount of time trying to be in control. From the time we are told enough to understand being dominant as children, to the day we become elderly and need to be in control of our own affairs.

When we lose control of our independence we feel vulnerable and inadequate.

This control is often the resource we utilize in order to survive, We take control in order to offer ourselves the feeling that things are perfect in our own perfect world.

Until...it all starts crashing down on us and we find ourselves out of control! The more we try to control something, the more it has control of us!

We have to work really hard to let go of a "need to" always control the outcome and learn to enjoy and embrace the journey.

Not always easy as we become so focussed on the end result we forget to have fun and enjoyment along the way!

Once things are no longer in your control and out of your hands, then it gives your mind permission to that freedom.

By trusting the process, you are not relinquishing your responsibility, you are in fact, then embracing life.

Being in control means we have to have power and order. What if we just let it be? Enjoy the moment and be present!

The difference between a want and and need is self control! The irony is, we need to control...control itself!! Trust the journey and it will be what it will be... regardless of our need to control! Life sometimes gives us lessons that we cannot control!
