Hello beautiful Souls. My message today is, "use your imagination" to reprogramme positive space. Don't read this unless you want the keys and tools to set yourself free...
This is how your mind connects the dots. Did you know, your mind cannot tell the difference between what is imagined & what is real. When you find yourself lost in thoughts of worry or anxiety the mind will trigger the body's stress response (sympathetic nervous system), which sets into motion a chemical reaction that causes your body to be ready to fight, flee, freeze or fawn.
When you are in a constant state of worry, you put your body into a constant state of hyper awareness as it loads your system with high levels of cortisol and adrenaline and ultimately leads to a chronic state of inflammation, damaging tissues and preventing healing.
The digestive, reproductive and immune systems are effectively shut down when the body is in a stress response. The prefrontal cortex, in the brain, which is responsible for logic & rational thought, is also taken offline and the emotional center of the brain takes over. Stress literally makes you stupid.
Here's the magic....you can consciously choose to use your imagination to take yourself on a relaxing vacation within your own mind and in so doing, as you consciously breathe more deeply and your heart rate slows, tension can leave your body as you think about anything and everything that elicits strong positive emotions like love, joy, and peace.
By simply breathing you are doing this, you activate the relaxation response, which is the parasympathetic nervous system and is responsible for healing.
What happens when a person spends more time using the imagination for positive creativity, than worry, you ask? Well, that's a great question! The person begins to experience much transformation within the physical body over time as the mind becomes more clear and focused and the body begins to move back into homeostasis (balance). Inflammation goes away and healing happens.
Use your imagination wisely and live the life you want to live free of unnecessary suffering. You now have the keys so set yourself free…
Tools to find peace : The science behind the imagination:
• The Healing Magic (Parasympathetic Nervous System): Consciously choosing positive imagination (joy, love, peace) combined with deep breathing activates the relaxation response. This slows the heart, reduces tension, and shifts the body back toward homeostasis (balance), allowing for healing and clarity.
• The Transformation: By consistently using imagination for positive creativity over worry, a person experiences transformation, reduced inflammation, and a focused mind.
