Hello beautiful Souls, my message today is about personal progress.
🌟 Personal Progress: Taking Ownership and Building Confidence 🌟
How do we truly progress? We all use tools and assistance—our essential stepping stones—to get where we need to be. Sometimes, admitting we need help from friends or mentors is perfectly acceptable and necessary for growth. We have to find the balance of help and self reliance.
Understanding this crucial balance is always being careful not to become too used to needing others to achieve your goals. If you lean on others too often, you may find that you cannot accomplish what you need to without their constant help. Leaning too heavily creates stumbling blocks, not stepping stones. When people become overly dependent—or even co-dependent—and begin to ride on the back of others, that isn't personal progress; it's a difficult space to let go of.
It's time to take ownership and control of your own journey, reclaim your power. Co-dependency and over-reliance erode your confidence. When someone is always doing things for you, you lose belief in your own abilities. You start to think you can't do things because you never try them yourself.
Do not allow controlling people or a habit of dependence to take away your strength and road to progress. The sense of achievement is far greater when you can honestly say it was your own work that got you where you are.
Take back your power! Even if it’s only small progress—one step at a time—it's still progress. Embrace the support you need, but prioritize the strength and confidence that comes from achieving things on your own.
Challenge yourself this week to make progress independently.
